Product information "Amerex A337TS Halotron aviation fire extinguisher"
Effective January 1, 2026, Halon fire extinguishers may no longer be used in aircraft cockpits and cabins in accordance with EU Regulation 2024/590, Annex V. The new Amerex A337TS fire extinguisher contains the extinguishing agent Halotron, a less environmentally harmful alternative to Halon.

Compact aluminum fire extinguisher with FAA approval, approx. 29 cm in height, total weight including bracket 1.38 kg. Extinguishing agent: 0.81 kg Halotron. Service life: 12 years from date of manufacture.

In accordance with EASA NCO.IDE.A.160 fire extinguishers are mandatory in the cockpits of airplanes and helicopters, except for TMG and ELA1 aircraft. Supplied with a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and mounting bracket.
