Description: The AAI Italy VFR Manual is made by assembling, integrating, and publishing – in the form of the necessary texts and charts – official information from the state (AIP- Aeronautical Information Publication), together with information from private sources (AAI - Avioportolano Aeronautical Information) and with other sources that can be used in order to achieve the purpose, including those from sector professionals and pilots

It does not include any information or provisions from the AIP Italy when this is not considered to be of direct interest to the pilot for the purposes of planning and conducting VFR flights. Given the specific nature of Italian aeronautical geography – which includes the possibility to use suitable areas other than the institutional aerodromes published in the AIP – this manual (AAI ITALY VFR) include the informative texts, charts and regulations for flight activities conducted over registered airfields, helipads, water aerodromes and unregistered airfields.
