Product information "M-900 BRX-Halotron aviation fire extinguisher"
Effective January 1, 2026, Halon fire extinguishers may no longer be used in aircraft cockpits and cabins in accordance with EU Regulation 2024/590, Annex V. The new M-900 BRX fire extinguisher contains the extinguishing agent Halotron, a less environmentally harmful alternative to Halon.

Compact aluminum fire extinguisher with FAA approval, approx. 29 ,9cm in height, total weight including bracket 1.41 kg. Extinguishing agent: 0.9 kg Halotron. Service life: 12 years from date of manufacture. Minimum confined space requirement: 474 cu ft (13,4 m³)

In accordance with EASA NCO.IDE.A.160 fire extinguishers are mandatory in the cockpits of airplanes and helicopters, except for TMG and ELA1 aircraft. Supplied with a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and mounting bracket.
