The ONE-X is equipped with David Clark´s hybrid ENC noise attenuation.
Hybrid Electronic Noise Cancelling features not one, but two microphones – one located on the exterior of the dome and isolated from the speaker (feed-forward) and a second internal microphone placed near the speaker (feed-back). The exterior microphone acquires the noise before it gets to the ear canal. Working in concert with the internal microphone, the signals are then inverted to produce a reverse, ‘anti-noise’ signal, resulting in unsurpassed active noise reduction performance.

Bequemes Headset, leise genug
Ich habe mir das Headset bei Siebert geholt, nachdem ich vor Ort länger das One X mit dem A30 und dem Lightspeed Delta Zulu verglichen habe. Das ANR ist sicherlich nicht ganz so gut wie beim A30, aber es ist gut genug. Dafür ist das Headset robust, sehr bequem, und vor allem auch sehr kompakt faltbar. Ich nutze es in der Cessna 172 und habe es dann auch mit dem A20 eines Kollegen im Flug verglichen. Nach dem Vergleich fand ich das One-X sogar besser als vorher - das ANR ist vielleicht im Leerlauf etwas schlechter, und beim Start bei Vollgas auch etwas lauter als das A20, aber es fällt nicht ins Gewicht. Ich bin dann auch mal als Safety Pilot mitgeflogen und habe dabei im Flug das One-X und mein altes DC H10-13.4 verglichen. Der Unterschied ist so krass dass ich mich wirklich frage wie ich jahrelang mit dem H10-13.4 ausgekommen bin.
Zusammengefasst - Headsets sind eine sehr individuelle Sache - das One-X ist m.E. eine solide Kaufempfehlung. Ich würde es wieder kaufen, es ist für mich leise genug, ich nutze es auch im Büro (mit dem Flightsounds-Adapter), und die Qualitätsanmutung ist m.E. über jeden Zweifel erhaben.
Was Batterien angeht: Ich nutze es mit NiMH Akkus (Eneloop Pro AA), die halten mit Bluetooth über 20h.
