The rugged 51 mm DLC‑coated titanium case with scratch‑resistant sapphire lens combines premium materials with a classic aviation design. Its bright 1.4‑inch AMOLED touchscreen display delivers excellent readability in direct sunlight as well as during night operations. Despite its advanced feature set, the D2 Mach 2 Pro offers up to 24 days of battery life in smartwatch mode.

The D2 Mach 2 Pro features the most advanced on-device aeronautical maps ever offered on a Garmin aviator watch. Detailed topography, terrain shading and color‑coded airspaces are complemented by advanced map overlays for airports, runways, flight plans and navigational aids. Compared to the D2 Mach 2, an LTE connection now enables access to aviation weather such as METARs, TAFs, NEXRAD radar, wind and cloud information directly on the aviation map – supporting informed decision‑making in every phase of flight.

A key differentiator of the D2 Mach 2 Pro is its integrated inReach® technology. It enables two‑way messaging, LiveTrack™ location sharing and interactive SOS via LTE or satellite (active subscription required). In an emergency, SOS messages are routed to Garmin Response℠, a 24/7‑staffed international coordination center – delivering an important safety advantage over the D2 Mach 2.

With a built‑in speaker and microphone, you can make and take phone calls directly from your wrist when connected to your smartphone or an LTE network. In addition, on‑device voice commands let you access select watch controls and flight functions without a smartphone connection – ideal for workload‑critical situations in the cockpit. The integrated LED flashlight, with white or red light options, provides optimal illumination for cockpit use, including night flights.

Personal minimums, the aviation morning report and automatic flight logging round out the professional aviation toolset of the D2 Mach 2 Pro.
