Multifunctional EFIS with additional WiFi-interface AV-Link. Upgrade your legacy vacuum driven instruments to digital precision attitude and directional gyro customizable displays. AV-30 fits in your existing 80mm panel slot seamlessly. By mounting from behind, it preserves the “round dial” look, and eliminates the need for cutting or replacing your panel. The AV-30 offers primary functions such as an artificial horizon, rate indicator and directional gyro (with optional external magentometer). Other features include g-meter, GPS navigation display, indicated airspeed, altimeter. More features are density altitude, true airspeed and aircraft bus voltage. Warns of critical angles of attack without an external sensor. A critical angle of attack is calculated from the current flight path, the g-load and the angle of attack. Internal battery for up to two hours of operation in the event of a failure of the aircraft power. An external GPS is required for use as a GPS display. By the included AV-Link Wi-Fi interface the AV-30 can receive traffic from SkyEcho, skySensor, ForeFlight Sentry and Sentry Mini, echoUAT, or any standard GDL90 Wi-Fi protocol portable ADS-B receiver with GPS. It also allows the wireless update of AV-30-E firmware from a computer.
