Product information "Handheld Radio Yaesu FTA-550L (COM/NAV)"
Confirms to EN 300 676. With the exception of air traffic control services, the radio can be used as a ground radio station in Germany. The use e.g. for the call signs “Radio”, “Start”, “Rückholer”, “Verfolger” is approved. A frequency assignment must be applied for from the Bundesnetzagentur (Applies to Germany only).

Radio for the 8.33 and 25 kHz channel spacing. Features easy operation and a large scope of delivery. Easy programming of the memory channels with a free software, which is available for download.

Soweit in Ordnung. Aber nichts für Bediener mit großen Fingern. Die Tasten sind doch recht klein und werden noch zusätzlich durch Stege beiderseits der Tasten zurätzlich eingeengt. Funktechnisch i.O.
