Product information "Finger pulse oximeter Pilot"
By lack of oxygen many important body functions are affected. In such case flying an aircraft can become dangerous and even impractical.
Symptoms of lack of oxygen frequently occur – dependent on the pilot’s individual physique – already at about 12.000 ft. altitude. Without an additional oxygen supply the blood’s oxygen saturation decreases with rising altitude.
The Pilot oxymeter is clipped onto the finger and supplies constant status information for pulse and blood’s oxygen saturation. The oxymeter allows the efficient control of data, but is no substitution for mandatory oxygen supply prescribed by law. Operation time: up to 30 h with two AAA batteries. Dimensions: ca. 58 x 31 x 37 mm, weight (w/batteries): ca. 55 g. Supplied with case, lanyard and multilingual instructions.
